1927 1927.jpg na GERMANY, 1912, ANTI-SEMITIC multicolored postcard captioned "EXODUS OF THE JEWS', featuring a large crowd of Jews on their way to Palestine, (showing Jerusalem's 'Dome of the Rock), on foot or riding camels, The artist presented the Jews in stereotypical grotesque way, all have long noses, wearing all tattered clothes, carrying sacks, bags & cases. Note a peddler & Orthodox at front, two on camels carrying signs marked 'Borse' and 'Presse', that is Stock Exchange & Journalism/Media...Card issued in Vienna by the Union of Germans in Austria...has message and 2h donation label showing Kaiser Franz Joseph, posted from Kelbra...VERY RARE! 1929 1929.jpg na GERMANY, ANTI-SEMITIC multicolored post card featuring Jews at top right, not allowed to take part in the local festival. Most vicious township's jingle in rhyme "We want to be with no Jews among us (JUDEN REIN)...All Rosenthal, Lewinsohn & other flatfeet (German term of abuse for Jews) are not wanted here & should be expelled.", posted 23.12.23 with long message in German. The term "JUDEN REIN" was used during the Holocaust to indicate a town in which all its Jewish population was exterminated or transferred to death camps. RARE! EST 150-180

Message is death notification of an elder woman, member of the family who stayed behind, while the younger ones were able to reach Palestine EST 60-70

1933 1933.jpg na 1939, Holocaust related, "American General Consulate, Vienna, Germany", official U.S. printed matter card, with American Consulate General h/s, locally mailed in Vienna 27.6.39 to Josef & Dora Schlicter, Polish Jews, waiting for their immigration visa for the U.S., which was submitted more than 14 months earlier, on April 6, 1938. 'We shall contact you when your turn is arrived...Make sure to keep your application as duplicate will not be issued...". This Jewish pair was obviously on the infamous 'Polish Quota list". Most of those Jews were not allowed to reach the U.S. A tragic relic of dark times!...RARE! EST 150-180

1936 1936.jpg na GERMANY, Holocaust, Theresienstadt Ghetto card sent from Dr Alfred Spitz, written 3.3.44, to Paul Wolf, Zurich, Switzerland. "hope our cards received...waiting for your reply...We know nothing about your aunt (apparently also in the Ghetto)...Need to get the addresses of relatives..(in order to ask for food parcels)..Please reply asp..". Card carried by an official Nazi courier to Berlin, censored & franked there after being delayed for four & a half months. Cancelled Berlin 20.7.44.
